Internet Explorer (IE) no longer supported for UMBfx

Microsoft has announced it will be retiring Internet Explorer (IE) on June 15th, 2022. This means that Microsoft will no longer support IE or release IE security updates, and IE may not be available for certain users after 6/15/22.

It is recommended that UMBfx users transition to a different browser if they currently use IE. Firefox is the preferred browser when accessing UMBfx.

If Firefox is not an option, users can also access UMBfx using Microsoft Edge with IE mode enabled. For more information for how to use Microsoft Edge in IE mode, please see this article from Microsoft.

Your online experience has been successfully upgraded to the new and enhanced UMB Direct Banking experience. We welcome your feedback as you explore and enjoy the new platform.

Last Week for User Orientation Sessions
It’s not too late to sign up for User Orientation sessions. Two more sessions will be held on Tuesday, February 15 and Thursday, February 17. Each session will cover the application's new layout, highlight new functions, and demonstrate how common tasks are performed.

UMB Direct Banking Experience Upgrade — Launching this month!
In order to provide you with a quality user experience, UMB rescheduled the November launch of the UMB Direct Banking upgrade. We are now happy to announce UMB Direct Banking will be upgraded the weekend of February 12 . We are ready to help make this transition smooth and simple for you.

IMPORTANT: The UMB Direct Banking upgrade will take place on Saturday, February 12 and will be unavailable from 9:00 p.m. CT on Friday, February 11 until 6:00 a.m. CT on Sunday, February 13. Please plan to complete all necessary tasks within UMB Direct Banking by 9:00 p.m. CT on Friday, February 11.

As you prepare for a new online banking experience, please make sure you take advantage of training opportunities to help make your transition seamless. As a reminder, all of your custom reports, export profiles, payment recipients and templates will carry forward with no impact.

Training opportunities to help you prepare

To help prepare for the upgrade, UMB is hosting User Orientation sessions. During your scheduled User Orientation session, members of the UMB Treasury Management Services & Support team will provide a comprehensive demonstration which will cover the application's new layout, highlight new functions, and demonstrate how common tasks are performed.

There will also be a question and answer period after the demonstration has concluded to address any specific concerns.

View the schedule for User Orientation sessions and register for the date and time that works best for you. Please note, all sessions provide the same content, so you only need to attend one.

UMB Direct Upgrade Rescheduled
To ensure quality for our clients, UMB is pushing back the upgrade of UMB Direct Banking that was originally scheduled for Nov 13th. We will provide more details soon on the updated rollout schedule.

Enhanced mobile responsive functionality will let you seamlessly manage your account, perform transfers, approve payments and more from a supported mobile device.

The upgraded UMB Direct Banking application has been optimized for your supported mobile device. Whether you need to approve a payment, review your positive pay exceptions, or just check a balance, you will be able to do so through your mobile browser.

On October 3, 2021, UMB is launching a new UMB Direct login experience that's easier to read, responsively scales on mobile devices and has a more modern interface with minimal changes from the pre-existing login flow.
