Everyone has a role to play in protecting the environment, but no one can do it alone. UMB initiated partnerships with the following environmental organizations to maximize our impact in the communities in which we live and work. The following is some information about these organizations and how you can get involved:

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

James River Basin Partnership
The James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) is a grass-roots organization whose mission is to “Protect and improve the water quality of our lakes, river, streams and springs.” The James River watershed covers an area of 931,000 acres and is in parts of seven counties in Southwest Missouri.
