"What kind of person you hire depends on [the] culture of the organization and the kind of job," Maynard Brusman, a San Francisco-based psychologist added, according to Business News Daily. "A great person with all kinds of skills may be [a] good fit for one and [a] poor fit for another, simply based on their personality type."
Use social media
Social media can help you hire the right person for the job in several ways. Whether you advertise the role on a platform or check out the profiles of various applicants, using social media can be especially helpful as you expand and add to your payroll. By harnessing the power of social media, you receive a more candid look at the personality of candidates and whether they are the right fit for your business.
However, it's also important that you don't eliminate a candidate based on his or her social media presence, as it may not always be an accurate representation of the person.. Simply use social media as another tool for getting to know your applicants on a deeper level.
