What is the maximum amount you can transfer between accounts?
In accordance with UMB's security guidelines for daily online transfer limitations, the maximum accumulated amount that you can transfer between accounts is $99,999.99 per business day. If you have a larger balance to transfer, contact us to complete that transaction.
Can I transfer funds to an account with another bank?
For security reasons, you cannot use online banking to transfer funds to another bank.
Can I transfer funds to another person's UMB account?
For security reasons, you cannot use online banking to transfer funds to another person's account, even if that account is held at UMB.
How do I make payments to UMB accounts (loans, lines of credit, etc.)?
UMB online banking allows you to pay a UMB account (for example, a UMB credit card, loan, line of credit, or home equity line of credit) by transferring funds from a UMB checking account to the billing account. Clicking the Pay UMB Loan/LOC link on the menu takes you to the Transfer Money page, which enables you to set up the transfer.
