Transactional Text Messages/SMS Privacy Notice

Privacy is a top priority at UMB, and we are committed to collecting and using your personal information in a transparent way.

When you apply for product or services with us we may ask you to provide us with a mobile phone number. One reason we ask for this information is to be able to send you transactional text or short message service (“SMS”) messages to alert you of potentially fraudulent activity on your account.

Such messages are sent through what is referred to as a “short code program.” Data obtained through the short code program will not be shared with any third parties for their marketing reasons or purposes.
