Yes. UMB has been providing escrow services for over 75 years and has nearly $100 billion in assets under management (as of October 1, 2025). Not only is your escrow backed by the bank’s balance sheet, but we also offer an additional escrow investment product that provides FDIC insurance for the entire deposit (up to $4 million) by splitting the deposit across various financial institutions, thereby keeping it under the FDIC limits of $250k.
For Mergers and Acquisitions transactions, escrow fees are waived if funds are held in a non-interest-bearing account. If funds are held in an interest-bearing account, fees range from $2,500 to $3,500, depending on the investment vehicle used to hold the funds.
Entirely dependent on the amount of work involved (number of wires, number of distributions of these wires, types of documents being solicited, etc.) The standard disbursing agent fee (for under 50 wires, with no documents being solicited) is $5,000.

We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” methodology like most banks, and our top law firm and Private Equity clients get white glove service because of this. We can review agreements, clear KYC, and open escrow accounts faster than any competitor institution – including same-day account review/account opening.
